John is the founding shareholder of
ProfitScore Capital Management, Inc. As President and C.E.O., he is responsible for all investment management
oversight. Mr. McClure is the developer of the proprietary algorithm, EquiTrend®, currently used by ProfitScore
and other money management firms to manage client assets. Mr. McClure is responsible for overall business strategy,
operations, and risk management.
Mr. McClure holds a Bachelors Degree in Marketing from Tennessee Technological University and a Masters in Business
Administration from the University of Tennessee. Prior to starting ProfitScore, Mr. McClure worked successfully
in a number of different roles within diverse industries, while developing his career in the financial industry. In
1995, Mr. McClure began servicing the financial industry, specifically banks, as a Consultant. In this role, Mr.
McClure began studying the credit score algorithm. Originally developed by the Fair Isaac Corporation, this credit
score algorithm laid the foundation for Mr. McClure's research and development of the EquiTrend® algorithm.
Mr. McClure is the current Chairman Of The Board and past President for the National Association of Active Investment Managers (“NAAIM”), a trade association of 180 registered investment advisory firms who collectively manages approximately $16 billion.
John brings more than 25 years of business experience to Profitscore’s Marketing, Sales and Client Services Division. He is a licensed Investors Advisor Representative and written numerous articles on investing, He has been a Marketing Consultant, owned a direct marketing company and was District Sales Manager for Airborne Express where he managed the Corporation’s 4th largest major market, the San Francisco Bay Area. Specializing in National Account Sales and Management, his clients included Bank of America, Chevron USA, Intel, Apple, Transamerica and Hewlett Packard.
Additionally, he has more than 29 years’ experience as a pilot for a major U.S. airline, flying as a Captain and Line Check Airman on the Boeing 737, Airbus A320 and Boeing 777. He began his career as a United States Air Force Officer and Pilot.
Mike is primarily responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of
the firm. Mr. Mann is also engaged in the design and development of financial
models and portfolio risk management tools. In addition, Mr. Mann is actively
involved with monitoring daily portfolio valuations and shares in the
trading responsibilities of the fund.
Prior to joining ProfitScore Capital Management, Inc., Mr. Mann was
a business management and systems consultant in private practice. He is
a licensed professional engineer in Idaho and Oregon. He has served on
industry task forces for energy systems and information systems development,
reliability and security. As a senior business executive and strategist
with a 30 year professional career in operational, technical and business
leadership, Mr. Mann primary career focus has been the management of mission
critical systems requiring absolute reliability and security. His background
includes money management systems, energy and telecommunications systems,
software, manufacturing systems and systems integration. His experience
includes senior engineering and operational management positions in billion
dollar utilities as well as executive and marketing leadership of high
technology start up companies. His career includes management consulting
with broad spectrum of companies and teaching in the small business development
curriculum at the Small Business Development Center at Boise State University.
William
("Bill") E. Sawyer has been a financial services industry professional
since 1980. As President of Conservative Asset Management, a firm
he founded in 1985, he consults with high net worth individuals, bank
trust companies, and other financial institutions on investment strategies
and money manager selection, operating as a "fee-only" Registered
Investment Advisor. He earned his Certified Financial Planner®
designation in 1987 and is a member of the Financial Planning Association
(FPA) and National Association of Active Investment Managers (NAAIM).
Doug
has a broad range of experience in business and has always been a
student of the financial markets. Doug believes strongly in developing
a high level of trust by educating our clients and communicating effectively.
Mr. Bolen holds a BSME from the University of Idaho. After college Doug was a pilot in the US Air Force and flew the KC-135 in Desert Storm and flew missions all over the world. Doug left the Air Force in 1992 and worked for Micron Technology as an engineer and marketing manager. While at Micron he was rose quickly through the management ranks and worked directly for the VP of DRAM products. After leaving Micron he was a VP of Marketing for a startup company and helped grow the product market in Europe and Asia. In 2004 Mr. Bolen joined Arthur Berry & Company as a Commercial Real Estate Agent and was the top producer in sales for the firm his second year. He is now a licensed real estate broker in Idaho. Doug also is a licensed Investors Advisor Representative.
